About Me
Hi! My name is Creighton Ferree and I’m a freelance teacher, choreographer and mover based out of Des Moines, Iowa. I’ve been an Artistic Director and Competition Director at a local studio for the last 5 years, and now I’m shifting back into my own dance studies in NYC and LA, and getting connected with some amazing studios and students! My choreographic experience includes upwards of a couple hundred competition pieces over the years, stage shows performed at Disney and Universal Studios, production numbers(including the Winner of the 2021 Industry Dance Award People’s Choice Award), dance teams, show choir, and more. I value versatility, musicality, and performative expression in all of my work, and love getting to work with studios that reflect that same passion. Although my favorite styles at the moment could best be described as contemporary or jazz funk, I find myself feeling most creative when I don’t limit myself to genre. I love to teach a large variety of styles, including my first passion, tap. I would love to get better connected with you, so please shoot me an email at creightonferree@gmail.com for more information on dates, rates, and anything else you’d like to know!
In my free time I love listening to music by Lana Del Rey, Lorde, and Charli xcx. My favorite film is La La Land, and Big Brother is my favorite TV show!
